Healthy Snacks for Game Day

Game day is almost here! We are big fans of Super Bowl Sunday, mostly because that is the day Mark and I met, 20 years ago! We’ve always enjoyed watching the big game because it’s a fun celebration that gets people to gather together and enjoy some fun. This year I’m sharing some of my favorite Healthy Snacks for Game Day. There’s also a few appetizers and tasty sandwich ideas!

Healthy Snacks for Game Day

Over the years, we’ve adjusted our game day snacks. I think as we spend more time making sure we get all the food groups in, our taste buds seem to change. I’m still all for the goodies but I like to make sure we have some healthy options on deck too. Check out these snack & appetizer ideas:

Here are some tasty sandwich options too!

Cucumber Tomato Bites

As I was thinking of healthy game day snacks I remembered the fresh herb goat cheese I recently picked up from Trader Joes. I grabbed a few other items from my kitchen and came up with these super tasty and refreshing cucumber tomato bites. The splash of lime on top really make them pop. A nice little bite of flavor. I hope you try them out. Enjoy!

  1. Your cucumber tomato snacks look delicious and fun to eat. I’ve never heard of Krave before but now I’m going to be on a hunt to find it. I always get so annoyed with the weird ingredients in jerky so this sounds amazing.

    1. Thank you Barbara! You can buy Krave online or use their store locator to find a location. Looks like they sell at Target, Safeway and BevMo in most areas of San Diego. http://www.kravejerky.com/location

  2. Black Cherry BBQ Jerky sounds pretty darn good. And I’m just a 2 minute walk from Target right now 😉

    1. Haha! Let me know what you think if you try it Brandon!
