Lemon Aioli Prosciutto Crostini

I love mixing up easy and quick appetizers that pack a punch with flavor. This Caprese & Prosciutto Crostini with Lemon Aioli has all the ingredients needed for a delicious bite! I’ve teamed up with Bellucci, an organic 100% Italian Extra Virgin Olive Oil to bring you this tasty recipe.

The best part about this recipe is that it comes together so quickly. It’s as simple as gathering your ingredients, mixing up a little aioli and toasting your bread.

I first chopped up my basil and tomatoes. I found mozzarella cheese that was already sliced. Score! I took my prosciutto and separated each slice then rolled it up for each piece. You can use a full slice or cut it in half then roll it up. You don’t want too much because then it will be chewy.

Slice your baguette into 1/2 inch pieces, top with Bellucci Extra Virgin Olive Oil then toast for about 5 minutes. You don’t want these too crispy, just a little toasty on top. You can drizzle right on top or paint it on with a kitchen brush.

Make a Lemon Aioli For Your Caprese Crostini

To make the lemon aioli just add a squeeze of half a lemon to 2 tablespoons of mayo. I added a teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil to the aioli to thin it out a little too. Mix in your salt and add to the top of the toasted baguette slices. Add your slice of mozzarella, prosciutto roll, tomatoes, basil and drizzle with a little more extra virgin olive oil to finish it off. These are so delicious and your friends will love you if you bring these to the next get-together!

  • 1 Baguette
  • 12 Sliced Campari Tomatoes
  • 1 Bunch of Basil, Chopped
  • 4 Tablespoons of Bellucci Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 2 Tablespoons of Mayo
  • 1/2 Squeeze of Lemon Juice
  • 1 Teaspoon of Salt
  • Sliced Mozzarella
  • 1 Package of Prosciutto, separated and rolled up


  1. Slice baguette into 1/2 inch slices
  2. Top baguette slices with olive oil and toast for 5 minutes in toaster oven or oven
  3. Make Lemon Aioli: Mix Mayo, 1 tablespoon of olive oil, salt and lemon juice
  4. Top toasted baguettes with lemon aioli
  5. Top with sliced mozzarella, prosciutto roll, tomato, basil
  6. Sprinkle with Bellucci extra virgin olive oil
