I made this super easy Fall Harvest Salad Recipe for a recent gathering and it's so tasty! With minimal ingredients and quick assembly, you'll be wowing your guests immediately.

Ingredients for a Fall Harvest Salad
There are lots of ways to make a tasty fall harvest salad. This one is simple and quick to assemble.
- Spring Mix / Mixed Greens: You can substitute with your greens of choice but a spring mix works beautifully for this salad.
- Goat Cheese: I used a garlic goat cheese. You can use regular goat cheese or a flavor of choice.
- Red Grapes: I like the way the red grapes give this dish color. You can use any grapes you have on hand.
- Pears: Sliced apples could also be used in this dish. The pears give it a nice sweet flavor.
- Spiced Walnuts: I found apple spiced walnuts at sprouts and they worked really well. If you don't find these, raw walnuts or our Everyday Mixed Nuts will also work.
- Shallot Vinaigrette: shallot, Dijon mustard, honey, apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, olive oil, Salt and black pepper.

Make a Shallot Vinaigrette
First, start by making a shallot vinaigrette. Thinly chop one shallot and add it to a ball jar or jar you can shake. Next, add dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, honey, lemon juice, olive oil, salt and pepper. Shake well and refrigerate.
This recipe made enough for two of these small ball jars but you can make it in one if you prefer.

How to Assemble the Salad
Place the spring mix evenly on a large platter. Fan the sliced pears across the top. Crumble the goat cheese around the top of the salad. Place the grapes and nuts along the edges for a beautiful presentation.
