I had the Horiatiki Traditional Greek Salad at Taverna Opa, when I went to Orlando, and it was so good I had to create this Easy Feta Greek Salad for you to try at home!

Ingredients in a Traditional Greek Salad
According to the Taverna Opa menu, traditional greek salads do not have lettuce. I had never heard this before and thought it sounded so good. We had been busy at the PGA Show all day and I wanted something refreshing. This salad really hit the spot with these simple ingredients:
- Tomatoes
- Cucumbers
- Green Bell Peppers
- Feta
- Red Onion
- Kalamata Olives
- Olive Oil
- Oregano, salt & Pepper

How to Make an Easy Greek Salad
When I think of a Greek Salad, I think of tomatoes and cucumbers. As long as you start there, it will all come together. I used what I had on hand to create a simple salad. Start by chopping the tomatoes into chunks.
I like thin sliced cucumbers so I used a mandoline for that. I then sliced the bell peppers into slivers and chopped them in half. Here is where you can also add thin sliced onion and kalamata olives.

Next, you'll sprinkle on the feta cheese. If you have a block of feta you can add this last. Pour on your olive oil, oregano, salt and pepper. Give it a good stir and there you have it!
