It’s been very full of holiday fun around here but I’m so very excited that it’s now the New Year! I’m so excited to bring you new recipes, fun adventures and daily happenings from our home to yours in 2022! We have a lot up our sleeves for this year that I can’t quite share all of yet, but there’s a lot coming! Just know, this is the year for us and you to get on track with your dreams in life. There is no better time, then right now, to go all in, on yourself. In the meantime, if you’re feeling snacky, I highly recommend you give our Everyday Mixed Nuts a try!
Must Try: Everyday Mixed Nuts
We first made these mixed nuts over winter break. I was working on recipes for the cookbook and playing with spices. I love how these turned out with the warm and toasty spices that are perfect for any snack break. The mixed nuts you can buy in the store are typically just seasoned with salt so I love that these have a little extra flavor and combine different nuts.
For this recipe, we are using sage, thyme and chili powder mixed with salt, pepper and brown sugar. I love the combination of savory sweet in these mixed nuts. Grab the full recipe below!

These are super easy to make and really fun to do with the kids. Once they learn how, they can make these all on their own.
After all the ingredients are in the bowl, stir together to combine.
Lay flat on a cookie sheet to bake evenly.
These Everyday Mixed Nuts store well in an airtight container for as long as they taste fresh. We typically eat these up within a week.
I hope you enjoy this recipe with your friends and family! I also wish you an amazing New Year! xo, Bri
