Why Make Sheet Pan Bratwurst and Shrimp?
I love super easy recipes that can be put together in 10 to 15 minutes and popped in the oven to cook. This recipe requires minimal ingredients but still packs tons of flavor for a tasty weeknight dinner.

Ingredients Needed for This Dish
The list of ingredients for this sheet pan meal are very simple and you can make many adjustments based on what you have on hand.
- Bratwurst - I typically use the original or beer brats. You can also use Italian sausage or spicy Italian sausages. This recipe is using uncooked sausage.
- Potatoes - You can use any style of potatoes. I used russet potatoes for this example. You can also use red, gold, or any other variety.
- Corn - I used fresh corn cut in half. You could also used canned or frozen.
- Onion - Yellow or white onion is best.
- Garlic - Add chopped fresh garlic or minced garlic.
- Oil - Olive oil, avocado or coconut oil will work well. You can also substitute with butter.
- Salt - Any preferred salt and additional seasonings can be added.

How to Make Brats and Shrimp Dish
First things first, preheat the oven to 400F. Then grab a cookie sheet or sheet pan and line it with parchment paper or foil.
Then slice potatoes, onion and corn. If you have any other veggies on hand, like carrots, zucchini or bell peppers, you can add that in too. Add the bratwurst to the pan with space around each sausage.

Next, start adding your potatoes, onions and corn around the brats.

Defrost the Shrimp
Once you've assembled the sheet pan with your ingredients, you can add the oil and seasonings. I used an avocado oil spray to make it easy. I sprinkled on salt, pepper and old bay seasoning.
Note: Do not add the shrimp yet! Add the sheet pan to the oven for 20-30 minutes. While that is cooking, defrost the frozen shrimp in a bowl of cold water.

Add the Shrimp to the Pan
Next, add the defrosted shrimp to the pan with a little more seasoning and cook for the remaining 30 minutes. You can add an additional 10-15 minutes for crispier potatoes.
