One of the most popular recipes on our site is the Sheet Pan Bratwurst, Potatoes and Veggies. So, I’m bringing you a similar idea with a much different flavor! You’ve got to try our new Italian Sausage Sheet Pan Pasta recipe! It’s super simple to prep just like our Sheet Pan Brats and it has a lot of fresh zucchini and tomato making it a healthy family dish. I took a spin off the baked feta trend and added crumbled goat cheese to make the sauce pop!
How To Make Italian Sausage Sheet Pan Pasta
This recipe is really easy to prep. First, preheat the oven to 400 and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Next, slice 2 zucchini’s into 1 inch pieces. Make sure you have your cherry tomatoes, avocado oil, Italian sausage and crumbled goat cheese on hand. Set a pot of water to boil on the stove for the pasta.
Add the zucchini to the sheet pan.
Add cherry tomatoes to the pan and sprinkle with Italian seasoning and garlic powder. Then spray or drizzle avocado oil on top.
Sprinkle the goat cheese on top and give it a good stir. It it seems a little dry, add more avocado oil.
Once you’ve stirred the veggies, spread them out over the pan. Spread out the Italian sausage onto the pan.
Bake at 400 for 40 to 50 minutes.
Then cut the sausage into pieces and add back to the sheet pan. Add half of the cooked pasta shells to the sheet pan and give it a good stir.
