You guys, I am loving my new custom cutting board (gifted) and this tasty recipe for Lemon + Herb Salmon with Garlic Aioli! One of my go-to meals when Mark is not home is some form of salmon. He is not a fan and its one of my favorites. Salmon was on sale at our new Sprouts in Mira Mesa last week so I had to have it. Salmon tastes pretty good all on its own to me but even better with that garlic aioli and seasoned with lemon. The little missy has been a huge fan of asparagus lately so I’ve been buying it often. Lemon + Herb Salmon with Garlic Aioli
Ingredients
1 Salmon Steak
1/2 Lemon, Juiced
1 Teaspoon Of Chopped Parsley
Pepper to taste
1 teaspoon of olive oil
Slices or lemon for garnish
Garlic Aioli
2 Tablespoons Of Mayo
1/2 Lemon squeezed
2 Teaspoons Of minced garlic
Directions
Coat Salmon in Olive oil, lemon juice and pepper.
Sear on medium heat in a grill pan for 4 minutes then flip and sear for 4 more minutes until cooked.
Top Salmon with garlic Aioli, chopped parsley and lemon slices. Serve with fresh roasted asparagus for a tasty meal! I also added a little garlic + herb goat cheese for some added flavor. It really brought everything together! Yum!
This is a super simple way to prepare Salmon with fresh herbs and lemon. It’s a quick dish you can make any day of the week. I don’t cook salmon very often so I’m going to start preparing it in other ways too. What else do you like to cook with Salmon?!
