This is the best Easy Slow Cooker Beef Stew Recipe! I love starting this early in the morning and letting it cook all day in the crock pot. I love coming home to a family friendly meal ready to go after a long day.

Ingredients in Beef Stew
I love making beef stew since it has so many healthy ingredients.
- Beef Chuck Roast, cubed or whole
- Veggies: Potatoes, Carrots, Celery, Onion
- Beef Bouillon or Beef Broth: I use beef bouillon with water, you can substitute for beef broth.
- Salt, Pepper, Garlic Powder Mix: You can use a combo of salt, pepper and garlic powder if you don't have the mix.

Making Beef Stew in a Slow Cooker or Crock Pot
First, chop up all the veggies you'd like to add to the stew. I use the classics like potatoes, carrots, celery and onion. Add the beef to the slow cooker and top with veggies.

Sprinkle seasoning on top of everything then top with water and bouillon. Set the slower cooker to low and cook for 6-9 hours with the lid on. If you want, you can add a bay leaf or a couple sprigs of thyme but it's not necessary for a delicious savory soup.
