Anyone else a big fan of mango and coconut together?! I know I am. I’m also really into very simple recipes lately. There are so many tasty smoothie combos out there and this one is just super easy, delicious and rich in flavor. The Mango Coconut Milk Smoothie only has 3 ingredients and can be made anytime you’re in the mood for something mango. I also never realized there are several hundred varieties of mango all over the world.
I’ve been testing out different recipes using coconut milk. It adds such a rich and creamy texture to dishes. It’s really good in Thai dishes and I’m going to try adding it to my chicken with some other seasonings tonight.
Mango Coconut Milk Smoothie
The kiddos love a good smoothie. We typically make smoothies after school. They always seem to be a bit tired and looking for something cool to drink. This works out well to get their daily fruit intake in. They also like fruit popsicles when they are hot. This mango coconut milk smoothie hit the spot this week. The vibrant mango flavor is always satisfying on a warm day.
- 1/2 -1 mango, sliced
- 1 frozen banana, chopped
- 1 Tablespoon of Coconut Milk
- 2 Tablespoons of water
- All all items to a personal blender
- Blend for 1 minute or until smooth
- Pour and serve!
