Islands Kids Menu

We love the Islands Kids Menu! We like to stop by Islands for a bite to eat and a drink for Happy Hour on occasion and we love that they have good options for the kids too. They have locations all over San Diego and we typically go to the Mira Mesa or Carmel Mountain Ranch location.

The drinks at Islands

Try the Lava Flow, which is rather tasty and pretty strong for a blended drink. I typically go for iced beverages but I liked the sound of Pina colada with strawberry throughout. I also love their margaritas and they have a good selection of mixed drinks.

Our Favorite Appetizers

We like to get the spinach and artichoke dip appetizer which helps keep the kiddos in line as they "patiently" wait for their dinner. Islands' fries are a family fav!

Main Dishes at Islands

Islands has a variety of burger options. The breakfast burger is pictured above. This was a special that had egg, bacon and a slab of hash browns. This was super tasty.

The fish tacos and added avocado is a great option. This totally hit the spot as I wanted something hearty but not too heavy.

The Islands Kids Menu

My kiddos love the Jr Quesadilla with pineapple and yogurt dip and the lil slider with cheese and applesauce. These meals are perfect for my kiddos. I really like that they have options that are not all fried and that the side dishes are all pretty healthy.

My favorite part about Islands restaurant menu (aside from their fun beverages) is their kids menu. I don't know of any other restaurant that has this variety of options for kids!

Islands Locations & Information

Islands has 9 locations throughout San Diego County including: Mission Valley, Mira Mesa, Carmel Mountain, Carlsbad (Palomar), Carlsbad (The Shoppes), Vista & Chula Vista.

They have a relaxing beach vibe and feature surf videos and sports on their TVs. Also, Happy Hour is offered during the week from 3-6:30PM. Islands is known for their burgers and fries but also has tasty tacos, salads, sandwiches and appetizers!
