You have to try the best taco catering in San Diego! We stayed at a rental in Mission Bay near the roller coaster for my 40th birthday weekend and had an amazing time! Friday was check in and we had a great evening with friends and family. We spent most of Saturday lounging on the bay. I'm so glad I found Gloria's Catering to bring us a delicious lunch for us all to enjoy! We had the best tacos, quesadillas, chips and salsa, right on the bay.
Why Order Tacos for Catering?
I first had Gloria's Catering at a few of my kid's school functions. They always have delicious Mexican food options at their events. I reached out to Gloria to see if they could deliver to Mission Beach and it was no problem. Gloria and her daughter were both very helpful and responsive. On the day of, I sent a dropped pin to my location and they pulled up close by. I brought a beach wagon and brought the food over to a table we set up with a canopy. Their food is delicious and they have excellent service.
Build Your Own Taco Bar
Gloria's Catering has 2 main options - Deluxe Taco Bar (onsite) and drop off. We did the drop off option for the beach and will be doing an onsite taco bar for our next gathering. Her current rates are $12 per person (25 minimum guests) for the drop off or $15 per person (50 minimum guests) for on site.
The Food Options
Both taco bar options include 3 protein choices: carne asada, pollo asado, pollo adobado, carnitas, adobada, beef barrio, sautéed veggies, or Baja style fish. This is served with rice, beans, guacamole, cilantro, onions, limes, chips, quesadillas, and salsa!
Enjoying Delicious Food on the Bay
One of my wishes for my 40th birthday was to sit by the beach, enjoy delicious food and spend it with my friends and family. It turned out even better than I imagined. I highly recommend envisioning your dreams and then doing everything you can to make it happen. We loved the tacos from Gloria's Tacos and even had the best cookies from SD Cookie Guru! Celebrating Milestones
Turning 40 is a big milestone for anyone, and I'm so grateful I got to spend it with the people who were able to join us for this special weekend. I really felt the love on this birthday and feel incredibly blessed for this life. I hope you take the time to celebrate you and yours! xo, Bri
