Designing the Future Champions Golf Magazine

The world is yours to create! The last few months, I've been working on a new project. I've been designing the Future Champions Golf Magazine. The May issue is out today and I wanted to share a bit about it with you here. This is our third issue and it’s become one of my favorite projects of the month. Creation takes many forms and I love seeing everything come together. Whether it’s a recipe, a painting, a design or an experience. 

One of the tour directors mentioned that it would be pretty awesome if Future Champions Golf (FCG) had a magazine. I immediately responded and said I'd be happy to design it and do the layouts each month. It's been a dream for a long time to either work with a magazine or design one. I did the initial designs for Youth Sports Magazine years ago and I've created many layouts for different styles of promotional material over the years. This has been the first full magazine that I've worked on and It's such a fun creative process. 

 

I work with a team of 4 who will provide the copy, images and articles from other writers. Then I take the content and create layouts. We are working on growing the magazine, getting additional sponsors and reaching as many junior golfers as we can to help spread all of this amazing content to them. 

Each month, I spend a little more time on the layouts. This is a small operation with a lot of pieces. I'm always excited to see the final pieces come together. 

The magazine launched in March 2021! We have an April and a May edition. We will be working on the June edition in the coming weeks. Share with any golfers or friends in your life. This magazine is packed full of awesome content. There are a lot of great mindset articles that will apply to anyone looking to create something amazing in their lives.
