Vintage Girly First Birthday Party

This post is long over due… Kyla turned 1 – 3 months ago! She is now almost 15 months old and I can’t believe it. Time really does fly by when you have a little one. My mom and I did a lot of planning and prepping to get Kyla’s party the way we wanted… Girly / Vintage / Fun.

It started with an amazing photo shoot with Anh Tuan Photography! I wanted to get a photo of Kyla in her adorable pink romper with pearls and an old style background. We did a little photo shoot in my backyard and used the old un-painted fence as the background.

Next, I designed an invitation that matched the photo and theme. The invitations & thank you cards are now available in my Etsy shop: BriGeeski – My Sweet Love. These invitations have become one of my top sellers and were the reason I started my shop.

The Decor: Flowers, Pink, Burlap, Pearls, Flags.

We put together flags, flowers and a 12 month photo timeline for display. We added fruit to ball jars and laid them on their sides for a unique look. It was so pretty! We served croissant sandwiches, fruit, cucumber appetizers, pumpkin bread and vanilla cupcakes. The favors were filled with animal cookies and had a photo of Kyla with each of her friends.

Here are a few snaps of the kiddos at her party. We had our family and close friends over for an afternoon get together.

The rose smash cake!

Me and my sweet love <3

She really loved her cake… especially once everyone left and she kicked back and put her feet on the table.

12 months of Kyla: !!! Love this girl!

Kyla had a great first birthday and we all truly enjoyed every second. This year has been a blessing and we are so excited to see what her second year is like. What are you doing for your little one’s first birthday?

I love sharing about family, food and fun in and around San Diego! Enjoy, Bri
