If you’re looking for ocean views, great drinks, and a coastal vibe, The Rooftop Bar at the Mission Pacific Hotel in Oceanside is a spot you’ll want on your list.
Overlooking the Pacific, this rooftop hangout is perfect for everything from sunset cocktails to a casual bite with friends.

The Food at The Rooftop Bar
The food at the rooftop bar leans into fresh, coastal flavors with a menu that’s perfect for sharing, like seafood dishes and appetizers.
One of the standout dishes was the Seafood Provencal which includes shrimp, clams, mussels, calamari, tomato sauce, and lemon butter served in a flavorful broth with just the right amount of spice. It’s the kind of dish you’ll want to soak up with bread while sitting back and enjoying the view.
The menu overall feels elevated and sophisticated, ideal whether you’re stopping in for drinks and a quick bite or planning to linger a bit longer.

The Rooftop Bar Drink Options
The rooftop bar offers a mix of beer, handcrafted cocktails, and refreshing drinks, making it an easy spot to relax with something in hand while taking in the ocean views. The cocktail menu is inspired by local surf spots and features a variety of creative options alongside classics and lighter spritz-style drinks.
If you’re looking for something fun and unique, try the Windansea, a bright, refreshing cocktail made with Ketel One vodka, Chareau Aloe Liqueur, Dolin dry vermouth, ginger, pineapple, lime, and cucumber.
They also offer non-alcoholic options, including a zero-proof “Aperol” spritz made with Giffard and Topo Chico, so there’s something for everyone whether you’re drinking or not!

The Vibes and Views
The vibes at the rooftop bar are comfortable, relaxed, and coastal casual, but still elevated. There’s a mix of people, from bachelorette groups dressed up for the occasion to others in poolside attire, making it an easy spot to show up however you’re feeling. The view alone makes it worth the stop, so I highly recommend a visit!
