Sometimes the best breakfast is one of the easiest to make! This Raspberry Greek Yogurt Bowl is one of my new favs and includes 20 grams of protein! I recently started doing strength training exercises and learned that I should make sure to have enough protein at every meal. This yogurt bowl has become an everyday staple around here as we rotate other breakfasts in here and there. Another new favorite is cottage cheese eggs, more about that later. This combo of greek yogurt with granola and raspberries is amazing because it is not too high in sugar and is so simple to put together.
How to Make a Raspberry Greek Yogurt Bowl
First, you want to start off with the right serving size of greek yogurt. This organic greek yogurt is from Costco and one serving is ⅔ of a cup. This yogurt alone packs in 18 grams of protein which is a great start. Next, add about a ¼ cup of granola. I used the Nature's Path Pumpkin Seed + Flax granola, also found at Costco. Nature's Path cereal is made with organic ingredients and does not contain any artificial colors, flavors, preservatives, or GMOs. It is also a great consistency of small pieces and has delicious flavor. Lastly, top with fresh raspberries. I added about a ¼ cup of raspberries to the top. You could also add other fruit, cinnamon, honey, or hemp seeds to the top.
We've been on a search to find breakfasts to have on hand that are easy to put together during busy days but also healthy. This one is great for the whole family because everyone can make their own bowl and add whatever they like to the top.
