How to Make Bruschetta?

I have found this to be the easiest way to make a delicious and fresh bruschetta! The kids will love making this dish too because it is easy and includes simple ingredients. First, slice the baguette into 1 inch pieces. Next, drizzle with olive oil and bake or toast for 5 minutes. 

Easy to Make Bruschetta Appetizer for Christmas

While the baguette slices are cooking, you can slice up the tomatoes into 1/4 inch pieces and saute in olive oil and garlic for 3 minutes.

Remove from heat and add basil and salt. Stir and then spoon onto each slice of baguette.

Make Easy Bruschetta With The Kids

Prep Time: 7 minutes
Cook Time: 8 minutes
Total Time: 7 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 Baguette, sliced 1 inch thick
  • 
1 Tablespoon Olive Oil for bread, 2 Tablespoons for tomatoes 

  • 1 Cup Of Cherry Tomatoes 

  • 1 Tablespoon of Garlic

  • 2 Tablespoons of Chopped Basil
  • 1/2 Teaspoon of Salt

Instructions

  1. Toast baguette slices with a drizzle of olive oil in toaster oven for 5 minutes.

  2. Dice cherry tomatoes into 1/4 inch pieces.
  3. 
Sauté tomatoes in olive oil and garlic for 3 minutes in a medium skillet on medium heat.

  4. Remove from heat.

  5. Add salt and basil and stir. 

  6. Spoon onto each slice of baguette then serve.
