I attended a media event to check out the latest happenings on the new Sun Princess Cruise Ship. Spellbound by Magic Castle is a brand new attraction designed in collaboration with the famed Hollywood icon. This experience will blend magic and mixology for an amazing evening on board the new ship! The latest ship in the fleet, Sun Princess will travel to Europe, the Caribbean and the Mediterranean, starting in 2024.
Why Travel on the Sun Princess Cruise Ship?
The Sun Princess is the newest addition to the Princess Cruise line, debuting in 2024. The ship will be traveling to the most amazing places in Europe, the Caribbean and the Mediterranean for its destinations. It will offer exciting new entertainment and activity offerings as well as luxurious staterooms and suites. The ship was designed with the sun in mind, with more balconies and sun decks then any other Princess ship.
Spellbound by Magic Castle
Like a hidden speakeasy, Spellbound can be found behind a nondescript door on board. Incredible magicians will surprise guests with magic and will find surprises hidden in themed rooms. Theatrical cocktails will be delivered by enchanted servers. The ornate decor includes vintage pieces, interactive special effects and magical artifacts. Guests can enjoy the music room, the parlor bar featuring beautiful artwork and intimate 30 minute performances of up close magic inside the Spellbound theater.
Food and Drinks On the Ship
The new ship has a three story dining room with multi course meals along with several restaurants. The restaurants include Crown Grill, Sabatini's Italian Trattoria, Teppanyaki, an Irish pub, the Promenade, multiple bars and a Gelateria. We sampled delicious bites in one of the cocktail lounges, including crab cakes, lobster rolls and egg rolls. Their macarons were the best I've ever tasted. My favorite way to dine on a cruise ship is in the dining room for most meals. I love that they serve an appetizer, salad, main course and a dessert at every meal. I also enjoy room service during port stops for a quick bite. Heading to the promenade is a great option if it's not a regular meal time and I want a snack.

First of all, going on a cruise with your family is an awesome vacation idea! We've been considering it for a trip in 2024.
