After the many road trips we've taken over the years, I've come across a few tips for road trip essentials that I have to share!
Just over the weekend we took a trip to Disneyland and one to Legoland. Road trips always run more smoothly with a good bag (or 2!) packed and ready to go!
I have a couple of bags for different things so I will go over each of them below. I'm excited to partner with Perfect Bar to bring you this post on Road Trip Essentials!

How to Pack for a Road Trip with Kids
I've recently discovered that having a cooler bag and a bag for essentials works best for us.
Pack a cooler bag: stock a cooler bag with water bottles, ice packs and any other cold items you'd like. I like to toss in a few protein bars, like Perfect Bars to fuel us for the drive home.
We brought our regular water bottles to the theme park and filled them up as needed. Then when we got back in the car we had the cooler bag ready with cold waters.

Pack a Bag of Essentials for the Car
Next, pack a bag for essentials needed for any road trip. I always have this thing stocked up with things like wipes, a change of clothes for the kids, snacks, sunglasses, books and toys.

The Next Adventure
We are packing up our essentials bag again today for our next adventure tomorrow! We are headed to Big Bear for the 4th and can't wait! The little missy helps with the packing and loves those chocolate chips as much as I do.

Activities for Car Rides
The kids love bringing sticker books and small toys for when they get bored in the car too. I like to make sure I have a good book to read for the longer trips when Mark is driving. I'm currently finishing up Crush It by Gary Vaynerchuk.
Please send me any of your latest book recommendations for our next trip!

Happy Road Tripping! xo - Bri
