We spent my birthday weekend at Loews Coronado Bay Resort and had the best time! This resort is absolutely beautiful, incredibly chill and very family friendly. It has just the right amount of luxury mixed with laid back vibes.
I'm so thankful to Loews for hosting us so I can share all the things to do at Loews Coronado Bay Resort!

Relax By the Pool at Loews Coronado
There are 3 pools at Loews Coronado Resort, one for families in the center, one for small kids to the right and an adults only pool to the left.
Getting a lounge chair by the pool, laying in the sun is one of my favorite ways to unwind and relax.
The kids are both at an age where they can swim freely and I can sit back and chill. La Cantina, by the pool, has all the snacks, meals and drinks you could want.

The Rooms at Loews
The rooms and views at Loews Coronado Bay Resort are absolutely gorgeous! Since the resort is on a 15-acre peninsula, there are views of the San Diego Bay and the Pacific Ocean.

Our room was very tranquil with the views of the waterfront right outside our balcony. Their 440 sea inspired guest rooms all incorporate views of the San Diego Bay.

Dining at Loews Coronado
The resort has 4 main restaurants and in room dining available. The Silver Strand Exchange in the lobby is great for grab and go items, breakfast, snacks and coffee.
La Cantina is the pool bar and restaurant that we enjoyed lunch at with family who came to visit for my birthday. It was the perfect spot to chill and celebrate.
We ate a delicious dinner at Cays Lounge. This is another elevated yet relaxed atmosphere that is perfect for families. The lounge includes a bar area plus indoor or outdoor seating.

We ate inside the Cays Lounge at a comfortable couch and table space. The Padres game was on the large screen plus there was live music by the fireplace. The Steak Frites and the Coastal Club cocktail are a must.
We didn't get a chance to check out Crown Landing, the fourth restaurant on site. They offer breakfast, casual brunch, lunches and relaxed dinners with locally inspired dishes.

Activities and Things to Do in and Around Coronado
Aside from chillin at the pool all day, there are a lot of other fun options of things to do at Loews Coronado.
Their premier Sea Spa features 15 treatment rooms with many spa services including a hair salon. They offer fitness classes at the fitness center and have several pickle ball courts. The marina offers Watersport rentals and experiences.
Loews offers a free shuttle to Coronado Village between 9am-9pm if you want to cruise around Coronado. We did this one evening to go to dinner and it was so fun!

Take a Gondola Ride
Before we checked in at the hotel, we went on a Gondola Ride around the Coronado keys. The Gondola Company is right by Loews and is an awesome experience to try when visiting or exploring San Diego! Use code Brigeeski to save 10%.
The 50 minute experience is perfect for couples, friends or families. They offer drinks for purchase and you can bring your own snacks. It's a must try! Read all about our Gondola Ride >

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Loews Coronado Bay Resort. I highly recommend this spot if you're visiting Coronado or San Diego for a luxurious, yet comfortable stay!
