A friend of mine is about to have her second baby girl!! I can't wait! Have you heard about Baby Sprinkles? It is like a baby shower but instead of showering a new mom with every baby item imaginable... you sprinkle her with necessities and enjoy a smaller, more intimate celebration.
Since my friend is a fan of hippos I designed a hippo baby sprinkle invitation. I added it to my Etsy shop if you want to purchase the design for you or your friends' next "Sprinkle". There is a "pink and purple" design and the "blue and yellow". Custom colors are always available.
Wondering what you would bring to a sprinkle? I would recommend diapers, wipes, burp cloths, onesies and maybe a cute new outfit. Larger items are always nice too but since a sprinkle is for a second or third baby the parents usually have the big stuff. It's always nice to ask though if you feel like being a little more generous.

I have never heard of a Baby Sprinkle but it such a cute concept! I love the hippo design too. The colors you chose are great, as opposed to the pastel blues and pinks that are everywhere. I have a friend who is expecting her second child and I think she should consider her own sprinkle, thanks for sharing!
