    Deep Sea Adventure at Legoland

It's official! The LEGO City Deep Sea Adventure submarine ride is now open at Legoland California! We had the pleasure of experiencing this ride during its opening celebration last week. The under water adventure hosts more than 2,000 real sea animals including stingrays, fish and sharks. The mission during the new submarine ride is to discover the underwater treasures like sunken gems, pearls and coins all while checking out the sea creatures.

The opening celebration included Poppin’ LEGO Champagne bottles and tons of streamers!

After the opening ceremony we had the chance to be some of the first people to try out the ride. The kids, my cousin and I loved the submarine and the interactive game. It is a great new addition to Legoland especially since they already have the Aquarium.

There are more than 25 LEGO models to see during the underwater journey. The little missy loved doing the treasure hunt which is displayed on touchscreens at each porthole. There are 8 total submarines and each holds 12 passengers. The ride takes 4 minutes and goes through 232 feet of track and a 350,000 gallon tank. We really enjoyed the whole adventure!

I have always loved that Legoland includes build stations near their larger rides so the kiddos can play while waiting in line. This one is especially cute with the shark on top.

After checking out the Deep Sea Adventure, we enjoyed the rest of the park for the day.

I love that the kiddos are still young and like to play in the build areas. We finished up our day at the Heartlake fountain to cool off. The kiddos loved that since it was such a hot summer day! We will be sure to keep the Deep Sea Adventure ride on our regular Legoland route! Let's us know if you check it out. xo - Bri
