    Adelaide's in La Jolla

I attended a media event at Adelaide's in La Jolla. An amazing assortment of tea was set up with beautiful arrangements of flowers and paired with delicious chocolates or cookie flavors. I have done my fair share on wine and cheese pairings but never tea and sweets. This was definitely a treat. I really loved all the teas I was introduced to and enjoyed the excitement of pairing the flavors with chocolates and cookies.

Chocolate, Tea and Flowers from Adelaides in La Jolla

The chocolates were from David Bacco Chocolatier. The chocolates were almost sinful. The little bites of chocolate paired perfectly with the Palais des Thes tea. I think my favorite combination was the Gout Russe Tea paired with a cinnamon roll cookie from The Cravory. There was also a lavender cookie from The Cravory made especially for this event which was decadent.

Adelaide's makes beautiful arrangements and their staff is very dedicated to their craft. The succulent arrangement was my favorite of the floral centerpieces they created to match the theme of the tea pairings.

This particular flower shop really stands out from any others I have been to. Aside from their beautiful floral arrangements, they offer really nice gift items and home accessories. They sell the teas, chocolates and cookies in store for you to create your own pairing gifts. (Don't worry they will help).
