I had so much fun and learned a lot of awesome blogging tips at the Baby Bloggy Boot Camp (#BabyBBC) and Women Get Social conferences. The conferences were held at the Bahia Resort & Spa in San Diego at the end of February. The conferences are held by The Sits Girls – one of my favorite companies to work with. The ladies in charge – Tiffany and Francesca are so empowering and uplifting. If you are into blogging you should totally check them out.
The Baby Bloggy Boot Camp was focused on creating compelling content for moms, sponsored content tips and authentic story-telling. The overall best part of the conference was the sense of camaraderie between all the moms. We were all there as moms who blog. Moms who are at home all the time and trying to make it work. Moms who are trying to be themselves while keeping everything afloat. Some of the moms even brought their babies. I looked around and saw probably ten women nursing their babies and a few others who brought their pumps. It was so nice to be surrounded by people who get it.
We heard from the awesome RookieMoms who explained how to find your passions and expertise. They shared tips on how to get readers to connect with your voice. The best thing I learned here is to just be me. It seems like that should be so easy but sometimes it doesn’t come out as authentic as I feel. This is something I have really been focusing on.
As a Baby Bloggy Boot Camp attendee, I received some super cool swag. My next baby is seriously all set. I got to take home the ErgoBaby Swaddler, Wrap and the brand new ErgoBaby 360 Carrier.
We watched a demo on how to use the new to the market: Ergobaby 360 Baby Carrier. The carrier will be available in April and we got a sneak peak. The new carrier provides hip, back and front carrying positions. I loved using my ErgoBaby when my kiddo was little. It is so nice to wear a comfortable carrier.
During the presentation they said this carrier holds up to 45 pounds. I was like WHAT?! I had to give it a try with my girl. She is about 32 pounds and almost 2 and a half. I told her we were going to try on a backpack and she was really excited. She let me snap a few photos and walk around the house a few minutes until daddy questioned what we were doing. I see no problem.
We also received products from The Honest Co. I have really been enjoying these products. Especially the hand sanitizer. It has a built in moisturizer that just feels really clean.
And if that wasn’t enough, I also got to take home a Liz Lange for Target maternity dress. How cute is this dress? I could really wear it today (not pregnant I swear), but it is so cute. I often shopped in the maternity section at Target while I was preggo and loved the Liz Lange collection. I also mistakenly tried on a few shirts after I was pregnant – not realizing they were maternity clothes. I think figure flattering is the point of a good maternity collection.
If you get a chance to go to Baby Bloggy Boot Camp – go. Not just for the awesome swag but for the amazing group of women. I loved meeting and bonding with so many talented people.

Love your dress selection! So cute. And I am loving the Ergo 360 with my daughter. We’re heading up to Washington when my sister has her baby and are gifting her the Ergo 360, wrap, and swaddlers.
That’s a great idea Danielle!
I love the Liz Lange maternity clothes line and Ergo was my carrier of choice when mine were babies ; ) It came in so handy when the baby needed to nap, but the toddler need to run around! I didn’t know that Ergo had come out with all these other products – so this is good to know!
Ergo really does have a great line of products for baby wearing. My next baby is all set.
Such a cute dress! Could totally be pulled off non-prego 😉
Haha! I have thought about it 😉
