At the free event, experts who specialize in cardiovascular care will discuss risks and symptoms that are unique to women. They’ll also provide information on the benefits of making healthier nutrition and lifestyle choices to decrease the chance of developing heart disease.
The expo takes place June 21 at Sharp Grossmont Hospital, East San Diego County’s leading provider of women’s heart and vascular care. Presenters include Dr. Ronald Goldberg, a Sharp Grossmont-afilliated and board-certified cardiologist, and Diane Wade, a registered dietician.
In addition, the three-hour event features free health screenings, wellness information, giveaways and heart-healthy continental breakfast options.
