San Diego Food Love: Seasons 52

Seasons 52 Mini Indulgences

My kiddo and I headed to Seasons 52 earlier this week to try out the new mini indulgence dessert flavors. As an added bonus we also tried a couple appetizers and momma got a mini wine tasting. I was recently introduced to Seasons 52 when I checked out The Headquarters downtown. This time we went to the UTC location and had so much fun.

Seasons 52 Mini Indulgences

Our morning date started off with the artichoke and goat cheese flat bread. I sipped on coffee while my girl organized the sugar packets on the table. I had no idea my kiddo liked artichokes but she did gobble those up. The flatbread was really tasty and the perfect size for an appetizer.

Then we tried the asparagus soup with Chantilly cream. Another veggie I was happy my kiddo enjoyed. The soup was really creamy and delicious. We tried the grilled spring lamb Kefta : spiced ground lamb, Greek salsa, crumbled feta cheese, tzatziki sauce. These were so good! I love that all the ingredients are so fresh and healthy from Seasons 52. And…all of their menu items are under 475 calories!

After we enjoyed a delicious lunch of appetizers we got to sample all the new mini indulgence desserts. We were seriously in dessert heaven! My girl had so much fun trying each flavor. Her favorite was the Blueberries with Lemon Curd and my favorites were the Meyer Lemon Meringue Pound Cake and the Chocolate Peanut Butter Torte.

Seasons 52 Wine

I sampled a flight of wine with my desserts. I tried the Warre Otima 10 year tawny port, the Selbach-Oster riesling Auslese and the Catena Vista Flores Malbec. The tawny port and the malbec were right up my alley. The riesling was a little too sweet for me, but they typically are. I could have sat back and enjoyed the glass of malbec for a while but it was time to head to the park and let my kiddo run around.

We went to the park on the other side of the UTC mall. They have a fun play area and a really nice family room. (more on that later!).

We had such a fun time and really enjoyed our lunch and dessert at Seasons 52. Their food is so fresh and every menu item has under 475 calories!
