Rubio’s and Blais Street Tacos Are Here!

You all know how much I love Rubio’s Gourmet Grilled Shrimp Tacos! Now, Rubio’s Coastal Grill has teamed up with Richard Blais and is serving new chef-driven street tacos! Check out the new Rubio’s and Blais Tacos:

Hula Hula Carnitas: gochujang, achiote and garlic marinated pork topped with mango salsa, cotija cheese, sesame seeds & lime!

Blaised & Glazed Crispy Chicken: Franks Red Hot Fried Chicken on a warm flour tortilla with cabbage, ranch, house pickled celery + jalapeño!

Ancho Po-Boy Shrimp: Flash fried ancho lime shrimp with Cajun aioli, flour tortilla, cabbage, salsa fresca & lime! 

These are all a must try! The ancho po-boy is my fav and I can’t wait to hear which one you love most. Rubio’s is kicking off these new taco creations with a Taco Truck Tour! Grab all the details below!

“We’re inviting everyone who has been missing travel and adventure to come to our Food Truck for a taste of favorite destinations – Hawaii, New Orleans and New York,” said Rubio’s Co-Founder Ralph Rubio. “We partnered with Chef Richard Blais, who infused incredibly bold flavors and textures, to create three delicious Rubio’s x Blais street tacos that are completely new for Rubio’s fans. We can’t wait for Rubio’s fans to try them, so we’re taking them to the streets.”

• May 20–23 — Orange County
• May 27–31 — San Diego
• June 3–6 — Inland Empire
• June 9–13 — Los Angeles

At Rubio’s locations, you can order the 3 tacos as a plate for $10.99 or order each taco individually for about $4.50. We have already gone back for the tacos plates! This is such a fun collaboration and a great way to try chef-driven tacos at one of my favorite spots!
