About 6 months ago we bought a 2014 Chevy Silverado so Mark could have reliable transportation for his new job and school. We have never owned a brand new vehicle and let me tell you, it is so nice! We wanted to make sure the whole family could fit comfortably in the new truck since our old one was such a tight fit. Thankfully the Chevy Silverado has plenty of leg room and we have found out it is pretty kidproof! What makes a Vehicle Kidproof? 1. The backing of the front seats are lined with a plastic cover. This is great for those occasional tantrums when the kiddos think its super fun to kick the back of the seat. It’s also great for cleanup. 2. There are cup holders all over. This is super helpful when headed out of town for the weekend or just running errands. She can easily grab her water cup while in her seat. There are lot of other little cubby spaces for toys, wipes and random falling objects that seem to come along with toddlers. 3. Durable Fabric. GM works with suppliers to ensure that their fabrics are durable for any kind of spill. 4. Out of reach buttons. At least for now the window buttons are out of reach for our kiddo making random noises of switching buttons up and down nonexistent. We have really loved driving around in our Chevy Silverado and absolutely love that it is great for the whole family. We also now have a car seat in each of our vehicles making life much easier. We will be adding a base from our infant seat for when our baby boy gets here and will have plenty of room for both car seats. As part of this fun campaign with Chevy I took a few super cute videos of our kiddo in the truck.
