Have you heard of HouseCall? I have been seeing a lot of buzz about it lately and thought I should check it out. Housecall is an App that connects you to local home service professionals for services such as appliance repair, auto detailing, carpet cleaning, electrical, handyman services, junk removal and my favorite: house cleaning.
HouseCall provided me with some credits so I could share my experience with you.
First things first, I downloaded the free app on my iPhone. Then I selected “Maid Service” from the list of services. A drop down of house sizes pops up for selection and then a list of house cleaning service professionals with rates opens. The icons become green if they are available right now. You can scroll through the professionals to pick the one that you want. I selected Isela’s Cleaning Services. Within minutes Isela herself called me to schedule my service. I scheduled my service for the next day. The house cleaning was fabulous. Our house really need a good cleaning.
“HouseCall identifies and then curates independent service Pros in a homeowner’s neighborhood and makes them easy to find, so they don’t have to. No more spending hours reading online reviews, asking for recommendations and then negotiating prices. With HouseCall users select the service they need, view picture profiles and ratings of available Pros in their area, and the fixed-price they charge. HouseCall gives homeowners a seamless way to book and pay for both scheduled, and on demand, home improvement help from trusted Pros.”
After the services were complete I received an email with my receipt. Housecall uses any credits you have entered and then applies the bill to your credit card on file. Easy peasy! And if you want to check out the app you can use my HouseCall promo code, 9HY6C, and get $10 off your first #HouseCall! Woohoo!
The other reason I really love HouseCall is because they offer really fun and unique services such as Christmas tree delivery and Girl Scout Cookie drop offs. How awesome is that?!
HouseCall is currently available in San Diego and they are looking to expand to other markets soon. Have you tried the app? Let me know what you think!
I received $100 credit to try out HouseCall. All opinions are my own.
