Now Open: Grocery Outlet { Giveaway }

Good News San Diego – Grocery Outlet is now open in Poway! Grocery Outlet offers brand-name, quality groceries at a lower price. The Escondido store will open August 15th and San Marcos will open September 21st.

I have partnered with Grocery Outlet to help you save money! I am always looking for ways to save a few bucks here-and-there and wanted to share my experience with my readers. As a bonus for you… Grocery Outlet is giving away (2) $25 gift cards to one of you! Also check out their Facebook and Twitter pages to stay up to date on specials and store events.

Some of my family was able to check out Grocery Outlet before I got a chance and they have been raving about it. I have to agree Grocery Outlet is a great place to grab your weekly groceries at a discounted price.

Poway Grocery Outlet

The new Grocery Outlet in Poway is located in a newly renovated shopping center next to Petco and the new Michaels. The shopping center looks really nice now. When you enter the Grocery Outlet, you can tell they just opened. Everything looks brand new and there are balloons all over the store from the grand opening. They showcase their big brands and point out the big sale items.

Grocery Outlet also sells plants, household items and small appliances. My favorite part about shopping here was all the fun deals on items I don’t always buy. I bought a lot of cheeses and meats so I can make a yummy charcuterie board. Here is an example of some of the items I purchased with their prices:

Brie Log: $1.49
Goat Cheese: $2.29
Havarti Dill: $1.79
Coppa Meat: $3.99
Cascade Farms Granola:  $1.49
3 Mangos: $1.00
4 Kiwi: $1.99
2 lbs Avocados $2.99
1 Pint Blueberries $0.99
Sparkling Wine: $3.99
Red Wine: $2.99
1 lb Canadian Bacon $2.99
Salt & Pepper Chips $0.99
Chobani Yogurt Tubes: $1.99
Oatmeal $1.99
1 lb Ground Turkey $2.99

Everything seemed a lot cheaper than the other grocery stores I have been to. I few items seemed like the same price but overall they seem to have better deals.

There’s a pretty good size selection of produce:

And… A really big selection of wine! The wine was all really reasonably priced. There were different price points for the variety of wines but I like that I got a pretty good bottle of red for $2.99.
