If you've ever struggled with figuring out what to make for dinner, you're going to love this Grocery List and Meal Plan Printable!
Years ago, I decided it was time to organize my grocery shopping habits. I felt like there were always the staple items I would buy most weeks and I would end up forgetting things, by the time I got to the store. I used to just go to the store with no plan in mind and buy what I found. Then I got organized, and my grocery list and meal plan printable make it so much easier!

Make Grocery Shopping & Meal Planning Made Easy
I created a grocery list and meal plan printable all on one sheet of paper. I wanted a place to check off what I needed for the week and a way to organize what meals I wanted to make. The list is organized by food type: Produce, Meat, Dairy/Deli and so on. I have found other printables and meal plans but they never had all the items that I typically buy.
I also found that I needed space to plan out my meals so I created the meal plan section with days and dates and made room for breakfast (B), lunch (L) and dinner (D).

Get Organized with Meal Planning
The first thing I do when I start to plan for the week of meals, is to get out my printable. I print out a stack so they are ready to grab and go each week.
Next, I will check the fridge and freezer to see what I still have on hand from the week before so I can implement the ingredients into my meals. Then I grab our Cooking With Kids cookbook to decide which meals we want to make for the week. Another great option is to browse the recipe section of our blog to pick out meals!

Grocery Shop for Ingredients
Once you have an idea of all the meals you want to make, write the meal name on the day and meal section. Then check off all the ingredients needed for each meal in the grocery list checker. Head to the grocery store to shop for your ingredients or place an order for grocery delivery.

Weekly Meal Planning
Now that meals are planned and you've shopped for your ingredients, your week will run smoother! You'll also have more time on your hands.
When I had my baby girl, it was necessary for me to stay organized in simple aspects of life.
I hang the meal planner in my kitchen, so my family can see what we will be having for dinner. This list has kept me organized and saved me money.

Hi Bri,
I love this! I think it's just what I've been needing... all on one piece of paper!
Question - is there any way to get an editable version? I wanted to edit some of the food items without recreating this from scratch and I can't edit the pdf...
Thanks!

Hi Martia,
I'm glad you like it! You can edit the PDF in Adobe Acrobat using the touch up text tool; however, you may need the professional version. I hope this helps!
Thank you, Bri

I love this meal planner - thank you!
The text is editable with the professional version, but the font needs to be installed on the computer. Which leads me to my question; what beautiful font did you use in the planner?
Thanks!
