San Diego’s top culinary chefs will provide sweet and savory treats during the very first Chef‐Driven Bake Sale in support of No Kid Hungry Sunday, April 17th from 10AM to 12PM.
The event is hosted by local food writer Erin Jackson, founder of Bake Me Some Love. The high‐end bake sale will be located at LOUNGESix (616 J Street in downtown San Diego). Hotel Solamar graciously donated use of their trendy, poolside rooftop lounge for the event.
Admission is $5 per person and attendees can purchase the baked goods for $5 each. One hundred percent of the proceeds will go directly toward No Kid Hungry’s efforts to end childhood hunger.

Placing an emphasis on community, the Chef-Driven Bake Sale is meant to raise awareness and donations in support of national anti hunger organization Share Our Strength. Its Bake Sale for No Kid Hungry campaign encourages people to raise funds in support of national and local efforts to end childhood hunger in America.
