What do you do? In your life, what defines you? How do you define yourself? What do you love? What are your passions? What do you do that makes you happy, excited, overjoyed or at peace? Are you doing one or all of these things all the time? If you are not, you are not being YOU. We are here to do the things that we love. We are here to spread love. To be joyful. To learn. To teach. To be in a good place in mind, body and spirit at all times.
Do you love yourself? Are you being YOU? Is there something you constantly think about that you are unhappy with? What are you doing to change that? I often hear people complain about certain aspects of their lives that they are unhappy with. What are you complaining about? Why are you complaining instead of doing? What is holding you back? We often have emotional blocks up in our lives due to past behavior that do not allow us to be open. You have to find out what these are and let them go. What is keeping you from being your best self?
What are you struggling with? Defining your struggle may be the hardest part. What upsets you on a daily basis? Is there something constantly nagging you? Those are the things we need to focus on. This is part of self care. Self care is so important. I’ve talked about it here before. I’ve learned that self care is an important aspect of every single day. You have to spend time on you. You have to make time that is just for you. Do something everyday that makes you happy, that makes you tick, that makes you want to do things the next day to help others because you have already helped yourself.
Following your dreams begins within yourself. Once you are happy with yourself, you can do anything you want. You can begin to follow your heart and dream bigger to make your life what you want it to be. I have been through these challenges before. I have found what works for me and what doesn’t. Most importantly, you have to be you. In whatever career or lifestyle you live, be you.
I am sharing these thoughts with you today because I’m listening to that inner voice inside me that is urging me to speak my truth. To be open with others and to help others who may want a little help but are not sure where to start or what to do first. I am being my best self today by listening to my needs and my desires.
Do any of these questions resonate with you? What stands out as something you need to focus more on? Are you being you? If not, what areas do you need help with? xo – Bri
