One of my 31 goals for my 31st year was to do a rebrand of BriGeeski and I made it happen today! Okay well it is still in progress but the big details have been updated like the logo and blog topics. I started by taking a really close look at my navigation bar above. They didn’t really mesh well with what my readers are actually interested in. I took another really close look at my google analytics. My top posts all fell into the food and parties categories. Go figure! I then added a few topics that I would like to start writing more about including adventures and work life.
I started a journal a few months ago which is really more of a notebook filled with random ideas and notes to myself. On one of the first few pages I drew what I wanted my logo to be like. I’ve looked at it over and over again over the last few months and realized that I love its simplicity. My old logo felt too general or boring. I needed something more personal with character. I recreated the drawing in illustrator and here we have it. I hope you like the updated fresh look. As a creative director and a lifestyle blogger, I wanted to create something that would work for both types of clients and readers. I hope it brings across a feeling of fun, love and simplicity.

I’m so happy I found some time to work on my own brand. As a designer, I can be pretty critical of my own work but I’ve learned that it is best to not overthink things and to move forward. Change is good and new designs bring a fresh feel and vibe for a brand overall. I’m so excited for this new look. Next up, ill be redesigning my business cards and email signature. If you have a brand that needs a refresh, shoot me an email.
Enjoy, Bri
Yay! I’m so hlad you were able to doing something for you! Baby steps are better than no steps. I love the simplicity of the new logo and I look forward to watching your blog continue to evolve. Thanks for sharing your process!
Thank you Angela! I’m glad you like the logo!
