    30 Day Ab Challenge

If you've seen my ramblings on social media, you probably have noticed my healthier eating habits. Well, with that comes exercise. This 30 Day Abs Challenge popped up in my Facebook news feed and I thought hey, why not?

Over the last two weeks I have limited my dairy, sugar and white carb intake. (Aside from a few foodie events) My original goal here was to create a healthier lifestyle at home so that I am able to enjoy anything while I am out and about. This kind of goes along with Forkin Healthy's 80/20 rule.

Since I have started eating healthier I have been paying a little more attention to how my clothes are fitting. I am also very aware that this is now June. JUNE! I was all geared up a few months ago to get back in shape before summer, and well - that didn't happen.

    30 Day Ab Challenge #30DayFitness

Anywho... here we are in June. The start of summer and I am not exactly summer ready. But - I am on my way. Along with eating healthier I have been keeping track of my calories with MyFitnessPal, an app I discovered post baby delivery. It really helped me loose the baby fat after having my kiddo but I think all this tasty food eating I have been doing helped add some of those lbs back on.

So my challenge for the month of June, as far as fitness goes, is to complete this 30 day ab challenge. I just finished day 3 and it feels good! I totally feel the burn in my abs. It was much harder to do 25 sit ups than I would have thought. I am incredibly grateful that tomorrow is a rest day!

What are you doing to get summer ready?
