5 Ingredient Toddler Approved Spinach Smoothie Recipe

3 Strawberries
1 Banana
1/4 cup blueberries
Handful of Spinach
Ice

Place all ingredients in your blender and blend. Done!

My toddler gulped this up before I could even think to get a photo of her. I did manage to grab a quick photo of our glasses. (below) I could not believe how happy she was to gobble up this spinach smoothie. I don’t know why though it has all her favorite fruits.

I make smoothies all the time. (Drinking one right now). My son loves them! I take advantage of adding all kinds of fun stuff like flax seed (milled, of course) and carrots. He doesn’t notice the extra little additions.

Hi Maggie, That is a great idea! My main goal was to get leafy greens in the smoothie. Next time I will try adding some flax seed and veggies!

My 2.5 year old has been drinking these for a while and loves them too! We also add kale and use frozen fruit so I don’t need to have ice (no ice maker). Just started adding plain Greek yogurt, ground flax, and carrots to boost the nutritional value and protein too. I feel like if this is what she drinks every morning I don’t worry about how many veggies she eats (or refuses) the rest of the day.
